On 11-14 February 2011, Lviv hosted the IV Municipal Chocolate Festival. This year the Chocolate Festival was devoted to the Valentine's Day. Can anything else compete for our love and passion better than Majestic Chocolate? In Lviv, everyone drinks, eats, and presents chocolate. Lvivers are proud of their chocolate products; they admire chocolate; they enjoy it; they dream about it; they offer lavish chocolates to friends and loved ones. It is only in Lviv, the sweetest city in Ukraine, that chocolate has a very special name – "Chokoliada".
Lvivers have even invented their own kind of free currency exchange! If you want to express your gratitude, you should say: "I owe you Chokoliada!"
Despite our description, you still do not know everything about IT – so, just come along and join us at the Chocolate Festival in Lviv. All together, we will proudly announce: "Long Live Chocolate!"
This year the Festival offered more delicious chocolate, more interesting games and competitions, concerts, exhibitions and evening parties. Chocolate masters opened ancient recipes and allowed to observe the technology of chocolate making. In the hands of Lviv artists pieces of chocolate became alive and turned into a fairy-tale characters, miniature buildings of Lviv and figures of famous people. Also the known musicians entertained guests on the streets and in municipal theatres.
Special Festival guest - world tenor Robertino Loretti during his visit to Lviv opened the IV Chocolate Festival and conducted a concert at Opera House.
